Journalism Award for New Jersey Super Lawyers

Congratulations are in order for New Jersey Super Lawyers & Rising Stars writer Nicholas DiUlio, who placed in the 2012 New Jersey Society for Professional Journalists competition in the category of magazine feature and profile writing. DiUlio wrote a compelling story about Cherry Hill criminal defense attorney Carl Poplar, whose fascinating career began as a public defender with a client list including such well-known activists as Charles "Poppy" Sharp, head of the Black People's Unity Movement.

Remembering Hennepin County Bar Members in Court and in Words

Tamara Hjelle Olsen, the first female managing officer of Gray Plant Mooty in Minneapolis, where she joined in 1986 after attending Harvard Law School, and a Minnesota's Top 100 Super Lawyers honoree, died last summer after a year-long battle with cancer at age 51.
